This much I can tell you.........
Back in 2004, if you shopped really hard you could find a dealer who would sell you a BX23 for about $14.5K
Then you would have to add in the cost of the box blade (guessing $500-$700) and the mower deck (maybe $3500-$4000 ??).
So it was a $19,000 package new, but the warranty has expired and it has been used only 100 hours a year since then.
I think the used box blade and mower deck might be worth about $3000 so that leaves $10,900 for the TLB.
I think you are in the ball park..... I would try to get it for $500 less. ....

Abaniki,
It's always in the buyer's best interest to deal with the seller directly. In this case, the private party has likely received a trade-in price from his dealer, and wasn't happy with it. The dealer was likely going to give him 4 grand less than it's really worth on the open market.
Being that this is usually the case, the seller will post his stated price at quite a high number, knowing that he has room to work a deal.
If you were to offer the seller $12,900, you'd likely find the seller to be quite happy with your offer.........especially when considering that the dealer was probably going to give him about $10,000 for the whole package.
13,900 isn't a bad price to begin with, but I'm guessing that both you and the seller could would be happy with a number a bit less than that.
Joel ....

Is he the original owner? The list prices for a box blade are like Mark said. Mark actually owned one of the BX TLB's without the mower, he can let you know what he paid for it. I have the 60" MMM on a B7610 (a little different deck than the BX) and it listed for around $2200. Since the BX23 is sold as a TLB, Tractor, Loader, Backhoe for a package price they may have put the entire discount on the only options he bought, the mower and the box scraper.
Nonetheless, the original cost was probably at least $17 +++. ....

For comparison . We just sold a 2005 Kubota BX23TLB with 60" mid mount mower for $14800.00. This was in Mint Condition with 190hours on it. Looked like it had 20hrs on it. It was Tractor, Loader, Backhoe, 2 work lights, 3 welded hooks on front loader bucket, 1 welded hook on backhoe bucket, block heater and the New Improved BX Seat.
See link for picture of it ....
